Wedding Recap - Nicole & Russ - Bronx, NY

Nicole & Russ brought us on board to help with the last month or so of wedding planning! Fun fact: Russ’s mom is a wedding planner so she & Nicole had things super organized before we stepped in!


The bride & groom got ready in their respective childhood homes - the bride grew up in Mahopac & the groom grew up on Long Island. We started the day in Mahopac NY at the bride's parents home. There’s something so special about getting ready in your childhood home on your wedding day! You’re surrounded by your family & closest friends getting ready in the home you grew up in - it’s always a very full circle moment. 

These two got married at St Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in the Bronx, NY. The bride’s childhood priest officiated the ceremony, which was such a special touch! After the ceremony, we did a grand exit & petal toss. While we got the bridal party on the bus, the couple took a few photos in the church. Once they were done, the bride, groom, and bridal party were off to Maritime College to do photos! We couldn’t have asked for better weather - there wasn’t a cloud in the sky! 

After the bridal party & couple portraits, they were off to Marina Del Rey in the Bronx NY. This waterfront venue was a perfect fit for them, but they also chose the venue because their parents had both gotten married there as well! At the venue we did family photos and a few more bridal party shots before everyone was off to enjoy cocktail hour! Guests were greeted by a beautiful escort board that was created to look like a fairytale story book, along with photos of each of their parents' weddings. The ballroom featured beautiful white & pink centerpieces. The tall centerpieces were complimented by floating candles and votives on each table - the centerpieces filled the space beautifully! The sweetheart table featured a low centerpiece with coordinating flowers & candles. 


This wedding had so many personal touches & meaning woven throughout that made it such a special wedding in Bronx NY!
