What does a full-service wedding planner do?

Planning a wedding is a full-time job—and it shouldn't have to become yours! Behind every beautiful celebration are hundreds of moving parts, including budgets, contracts, vendor communication, timelines, design decisions, logistics, and last-minute problem solving.

At C&E Event Productions, our full-service wedding planning team manages every aspect of the planning process from start to finish. We guide you through vendor selection, budget management, event design, timeline creation, and wedding day production while bringing your unique vision to life.

Our goal is simple: to give you time back, reduce stress, and allow you to fully enjoy your engagement knowing every detail is being handled by experienced professionals.

What makes C&E Event Productions different from other wedding planners?

C&E Event Productions was founded by Carley & Erica! Both hold hospitality management degrees, have 10+ years of experience with event planning, event production, and large-scale event management. That experience allows us to approach weddings with both creative vision and operational expertise.

At C&E Event Productions, you're not hiring just one wedding planner—you're hiring two! Carley & Erica work with each of their couples throughout the planning process - we bring twice the expertise, collaboration, and support. Our hospitality-first approach means we're always anticipating needs, solving problems before they arise, and creating a planning experience that feels organized, collaborative, and enjoyable.

Do I need a wedding planner if my venue has a coordinator?

Yes! Your venue coordinator and wedding planner have different roles, and both can be valuable members of your wedding team.

A venue coordinator focuses primarily on the venue itself—such as food and beverage, venue operations, staffing, and setup requirements. A wedding planner manages the overall wedding experience, including vendor communication, timeline creation, design details, logistics, guest experience, and the coordination of every moving piece.

At C&E Event Productions, we work alongside your venue team and vendors to ensure your entire wedding day is thoughtfully planned and executed exactly as you envisioned.

How far in advance should I hire a wedding planner?

For weddings in Westchester County, the Hudson Valley, NYC, and surrounding areas, we recommend booking your wedding planner 12–18 months before your wedding. This gives you the best selection of venues and vendors, and allows us to guide you through the entire process from day one!

How much does a wedding planner cost in Westchester County?

Wedding planning investment varies based on the level of support, experience, location, and complexity of the event.

At C&E Event Productions, full-service wedding planning begins at $18,000, enhanced partial planning begins at $10,800, and Wedding Management begins at $4,500.

What is the difference between wedding planning and day-of coordination?

While many couples search for "day-of coordination," a true wedding coordination experience requires preparation well before the wedding day!

At C&E Event Productions, our Wedding Management package includes contract review, vendor communication, timeline creation, logistics planning, and wedding day execution. We begin preparing in advance so your wedding day feels effortless—not just for you, but for your entire vendor team!

Do you plan weddings outside of Westchester County?

We're based in New York, Westchester County to be exact! We regularly serve couples throughout the Hudson Valley, New York City, Connecticut, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.

Who is C&E Event Productions the right wedding planner for?

We work best with couples who value expert guidance, thoughtful design, and a stress-free planning experience. Many of our clients are busy professionals who want to enjoy their engagement while trusting an experienced team to manage the details!

Do you plan events other than weddings?

Absolutely! In addition to weddings, we plan and design rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, farewell brunches, and full wedding weekends. We also love creating memorable social events (birthdays, showers, anniversaries) and producing seamless corporate events. Whatever the occasion, our team brings the same level of creativity, detail, and flawless execution. Fun Fact: we're also both Certified Meeting Planners (CMP)!
