Perfectionism has a funny way of convincing you not to try something unless you’re guaranteed to succeed ✨

A few months ago we joined the @lowerhv.sbdc business accelerator program during the busiest month of our whole year… we had no idea we’d be selected as a finalist, standing in front of a room full of judges, sharing the story behind C&E Event Productions and our vision for what’s next!

Did we win the grand prize? No. But we were selected as 1 of 13 finalists and that’s something we’re incredibly proud of!

As event planners, we’re usually the ones behind the scenes chasing perfection and making everyone else shine. Putting ourselves in the spotlight was terrifying knowing we might not win 😅

This experience reminded us that growth doesn’t come from waiting until you’re “ready” or “perfect”. It comes from doing the damn thing anyway!

So here’s your reminder: don’t let perfection stop you from taking the chance! Sometimes the biggest win is proving to yourself that you’re capable of more than you thought!
